This workshop aims to introduce students to copyright basics in an engaging way by having them analyze real life cases of (re)using works, and sharing or publishing what they created. The workshop provides the students with a practical and systematic approach. In applying that to cases the intended effect is that students are not ‘afraid’ anymore of dealing with copyright and (open) licenses and also know how to work within copyright and license allowances, thus avoiding infringement and complying with norms of academic integrity. The cases are chosen in such a way to make sure that almost all aspects of copyright and reuse are addressed.
