Utilidad del cine en el ámbito de la pedagogía

Can cinema be a good resource within the field of Pedagogy? The aim of this Master's thesis is to study the benefits of film as a pedagogical resource, also delving into the perspective of students in the third year of the Bachelor's Degree in Pedagogy at the University of Murcia. To achieve this, a bibliographical review of the studies most closely related to the subject has been carried out, to end with a pre-test/post-test intervention with the students. This is a non-probabilistic study with an N=60 sample made up of male and female students from the two shifts of the aforementioned course and degree. The results were processed in SPSS and ATLAS.ti for subsequent interpretation. These results have helped the author to understand the assessment that Pedagogy´s students have of the use of film as a resource in their profession and, furthermore, to contrast the effect that the intervention has had on them. The conclusion reached is quite good in most of the objectives and hypotheses, as positive changes can be seen after carrying out the activities.
