Recognising business opportunities in United Nations´ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) SDG4BIZ Modules 2-5

The Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) set by the United Nations 2015 are likely not met by the target year 2030, if companies do not recognize and utilize the business opportunities inherent in them. In addition, higher educational institutions (HEIs) focusing on business studies have not offered adequate training and support the competence building of future managers for solving the world’s most urgent problems. The mainstream of the training efforts of SDGs, still focus on the awareness building only, not business opportunity recognition related to SDGs. We hope that the effort in SDG4BIZ ERASMUS+ project and the quality of this material will also motivate other educational institutions and organizations to adopt thetraining content. The complete material of SDG4BIZ training consists of five parts, modules. This package includes sector and context-specific modules 2-5. -Food and agriculture (Module 2)
- Cities (Module 3)
- Energy, materials and industry (Module 4)
- Health and wellbeing (Module 5) Module 1, which provides general capabilities for identifying business opportunities, can be found separately on this platform. Each module is equivalent to five credits (ECTS). Please note, that there is a description in a separate document for each module.
