Research data management and research methods are closely intertwined, yet they are often taught and learned in isolation. As part of a teaching development project coordinated by the University of Eastern Finland Library, a course was designed to pilot ways of integrating data management with discipline-specific research method instruction. The goal was to apply the insights and experiences gained to improve teaching practices and to share them openly for others to benefit from. This publication provides practical tips and documentation to support the implementation of similar courses.
