Disciplinary self-reflection
As interdisciplinary learning draws on disciplines, it is important to be aware of the defining elements of one's own discipline. Disciplinary grounding involves the understanding and appreciation of one's own discipline and the discipline of the other(s). In this learning activity, students will reflect on the foundations of their own discipline.
