Digital Twins in Healthcare (student version)
Digital twins are an emerging technology that create a digital representation of
an individual’s health and disease status. Based on lifestyle and genetic data, the representation will be continuously updated in order to reflect the health status of an individual over time. The technology promises to open up new avenues towards prevention and precision health care.
